Purpose

The Way of Improvisation is a resource for the thoughtful improviser. This site is dedicated to more than just improv games and exercises, but to the philosophy behind improvisation. Improv is more than just comedy. It's more than just performing. It's more than just a set of skills. Improvisation is a way.

For now, new content will appear on the site every two months. This is to ensure the articles that are posted are not only well written and well edited, but are relevant to our mandate. To be notified of when the site is updated, you can subscribe to our feed.

The Website

This website was coded by Dave Morris. The responsive design layout was taken from Chris Biron's Liquid Gem. It does not run Wordpress, or Drupal, but it does use PHP, HTML5, and CSS3 with the odd bit of jQuery. This site has been validated using the W3C Validator.
